Lauren Bacall, R.I.P.

a beautiful woman has slipped this mortal coil...

so anyway, the breaking news this evening is that Lauren Bacall has passed.  She was 89.

and we also lost Robin Williams a couple of days ago.  I was not really a fan of his stand-up work (contradiction follows), but thought he was a solid comic-actor (Moscow on the Hudson comes to mind).

William's bestest stand-up bit was the "Scottish Inventing Golf" piece featured below.  It's not the version I wanted, but I posted it anyway, because: Tuesday.  It's still not as funny as Ron White's I got throwed out a bar in New York City, but it's close
